After Smartphones and Smartwatches, It’s time for some smart jewelry: Enter Ringly, a jewelry maker whose new collection combines elegant cocktail rings with smart tech features.
According to founder Christina Mercando, who was interviewed to Marie Claire about the new product, Ringly’s cocktail rings lets the wearer know of any incoming/missed calls or messages from their phone. They connect to the wearer’s phone via Bluetooth, and the notifications are seen through a subtle light on the side of the ring. If you miss the light, don’t worry: the ring vibrates too. The rings are set with real gemstones, and are sold complete with a special charging box. They range in price from $195 to $260.
According to Mercando, “no one will ever know you’re wearing technology”.
