Avi Paz Group’s precision cutting and setting division, New Century Creations (NCC), has joined the prestigious club of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), becoming a fully certified member as of January 2017.
NCC, which provides services to some of the world’s leading high-end timepiece manufacturers, as well as custom-design jewelry services for sale under clients’ private labels, has received the RJC Code of Practices Certification (COP) for a period of three years. The RJC Code of Practices Certification addresses human rights, labour rights, environmental impact, mining practices, product disclosure and many more important topics in the jewellery supply chain, and provides evidence of responsible business practices which can be communicated to suppliers, customers and other stakeholders.
The Certification process is supported by Standards Guidance, an Assessment Manual, and tools and training to support implementation and audits. RJC Members commit to and are independently audited against the RJC Code of Practices. By assuring companies are keeping to responsible business practices, the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) Certification promotes trust in the global fine jewelry industry
While some RJC COP certificates are given for a period of one year, NCC is proud to receive its RJC Code of Practices Certification (COP) for a period of three years – a further testament to its commitment for top-quality manufacturing and design standards as well as responsible and socially-aware business practices.
